Where in the World?
I'm debating where to set sail. I'm in the lust for an adventure and Paris keeps creeping into my thoughts. I'm open to suggestions, get back to me with your thoughts.
Winter and The Glamourai
It started snowing around three pm yesterday. At first just flurries and few and far between at that. By six pm, I walked outside into the snow fog. It didn't matter in which direction you were heading, the snow fell against your checks, in your lashes, drinking snow. It's Chicago's January reminder. Winter's here, saddle up. I loved these photos of the glamourai. It's like a 1950's pin-up calender shoot for January. Just painted my nails black and looking forward to learning how to knit. T is in India and I'm assuming it's warm- I know that glam girl is certainly enjoying the sunshine.January 7, 2011
Thekkady
After three hours of class, we're off on an eight hour adventure where we'll finally end up in Thekkady. Along the way, we'll get to see a cashew and tea factory, which should be very interesting. The tea and coffee here are incredible. I think it's safe to say that India altogether is very interesting. I do miss American food but thankfully our professor took us to get Pizza after a long day of shopping. I'm always grateful for surprises.

Although I would never purchase these kicks, this counter-intuitive Nike/heel combo remains, in my opinion, KIND of cool.

Carbs...
It has officially been a week since I have been in Kerala, India and it has been quite the experience. It has consisted of some serious travel time to remote destinations, class, elephants on the side of the street, great curry, incredibly nice people and company visits. As much as I love it here, I'm so also looking forward to the people and food back home.
