Bloom Thinks Spring

Across from the Eldridge at 7th and Mass is local bath boutique, Bloom. The boutique is most famously known for Margot Elena's Lollia, a selected product line picked for Opera's favorite things! The store carries a variety of different bubble baths, soaps, candles and lingerie. It's a hot spot for locals, students, and visitors alike- for those of us drawn to pretty packaging and pampering. I'm partial to the sent Believe (cabbage rose and citrus), which is carried in a perfume, hand creme, and soap. It's an interesting sent full of energy (citrus), although it has a soft floral aspect. It's my top pick for a long lasting fragrance you won't tire of. I also love Elena's new line, Tokyo Milk. All eighteen new perfumes are each their own- none smell alike- and the variation is incredible. My favorite T.M. perfume? Sparrow: the gardenia and neroli mixture warms on the skin, it's not too strong, and I've definitely been complimented on how great it smells more than once! The T.M. soaps are adorably packaged and a cute gift for a reasonable price. The boutique also carries hanky pankys- for the die hard h.p. fans (we know you're out there...). Most of Elena's smell-good-creations can also be found at Anthropology and her newest line, Love and Toast at Urban Outfitters. However, Bloom is a true local diamond in that it's owned by Elena, and therefore the products are much less expensive than other retailers. If you're ready for a new spring sent head to Bloom. Also, bubble bath is %30 off in February! Check it out- it's good to shop local for less.
