"One Night Stand" Betsey Johnson does Upper East Side
Forget the tents at Bryant Park this year, Betsey Johnson brought her new Spring collection, "One Night Stand" to life at none other than The Plaza. Word is she'll be re-designing the Eloise Room at the Hotel, and I can only imagine how BJ's fashion eye transfers into home decor (so fun). The event was held at the Palm Court in the Plaza, and models danced, laughed, and played without runway. Ida Maria had a booth set up next to the stage and preformed, "Oh My God" (her song from Gossip Girl). Betsey occasionally joined the models onstage and (of course) finished the show with her signature cartwheel... or two. The collection features bold colors, spring floral and animal prints, ruffles, sequins, and tutu-ballerina hair pieces- girly girl Betsey does it again. I absolutely love the turquoise cheetah print and ALL of the shoes! The models also rocked red glitter lipstick and eyeshadow- a bright touch. Another stunning collection by Betsey Johnson- a designer that will always be forever young.
