Charm Class Chanel: Spring 2010
Can Chanel do anything wrong- not likely. The new spring 2010 collection is stunning and creatively though subtly unique. The pastel color focus and genius fabric combination make for a interesting and innovative new line. What originally caught our eye? The short-suit. The collection takes a twist, transforming the signature Jackie O skirt-suit into a distinctly different ensemble. Sceptical of the new look? We were at first but the more we looked the more we loved. The yellow short-suit lined in silver is absolutely awesome and one of Tessa's favorite looks. Let's not forget the coats, skirts and especially the dresses- they're just beautiful. I really love the the layering of different fabrics and subtle (for lack of a better word) bling. The tool adds a fun new dimension to some of what would already be lovely garments- and the pictures from the show do this justice. I also can't get over the white sheer tights (perfect) and the runway hairstyle and make-up. The models are simply gorgeous while still maintaining a necessary nontraditional look. Overall we're so extremely pleased with the spring additions, we can't stand it! Check out all the runway looks at elle.com- It's worth it we promise.
